Description of Services:
Provides care to promote and maintain the health and quality of life of veterans and their families
Dementia Care - 53-bed program for veterans with moderate to severe dementia * secure, code-accessed unit
Physical Support - 112-bed program for veterans whose daily functioning is affected by physical health problems requiring nursing care
Psychosocial Support Program - 57-bed program for veterans whose daily functioning is affected by mental health conditions and mild to moderate cognitive impairments
Veterans Arts - communal studios for traditional and contemporary art and craft activities * musical therapy program
Other services provided include:

Operational Stress Injury Clinic
Helps people improve their health and minimize the effects of operational stress injuries through assessment, treatment, research, and education
- psychological, psychosocial, and psychiatric assessments
- psychotherapy and counselling
- group therapy and skills training (anger, pain, stress management)
- medication treatment
- relationship and family counselling
- education for individuals, family members, and other health care providers
- referrals to other specialized services and links to community support
- consultation and education to community professionals
