All referrals are accepted through the Early Intervention staff. Individuals must be experiencing psychosis; with symptoms that have not been treated in more than 12 months. Exclusionary criteria: - psychosis is secondary to a medical condition (including organic brain syndrome and traumatic brain injury) - presence of a developmental disorder (e.g., autism, pervasive developmental disorder) - IQ is less than 70 - individual is experiencing neurological problems. All referrals are assessed to determine appropriateness for program and may be referred to a more appropriate service if needed.
