Description of Services:

Literacy and basic skills training for adults, including math, computers, communication and interpersonal skills * helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence

Also offers the following:
  • support for adult literacy programs
  • information on and referral to literacy programs
  • literacy assessments through partner agencies
  • public awareness and education
  • professional development for member groups
  • literacy service planning
  • clear language consultation
