Description of Services:
Emergency, outpatient and inpatient services for taking images of the body to diagnose medical conditions
Bone mineral densitometry - X-rays to determine signs of osteoporosis and fracture risk
CT scans - Examination of various body parts using x-rays to create sectional images for diagnostic purposes
Echocardiography - Sound waves of the heart for assessment of cardiac valves and function * offered 1-2 days a week
Electrocardiography - Diagnostic testing of the electrical activity within a person's heart
Fluoroscopy - X-rays and a fluorescent screen that captures real-time moving images of the body for diagnostic purposes
Gastrics and barium studies - Upper gastroesophageal and barium swallow * performed 2 days a week
General radiology - X-rays of various body parts for diagnostic purposes
Holter monitoring - Diagnostic testing of the electrical activity of an individual’s heart over a period of time, usually 24-48 hours, depending on symptoms
Stress testing - Heart stimulation on a treadmill, under the supervision of an internist
Ultrasound - Sound waves to create images for diagnostic purposes, including routine abdominal, obstetrical, venous Doppler, thyroid, breast, shoulder and some ultrasound-guided biopsies * offered 7 days a week with evening appointments available
