Description of Services:
Outpatient and inpatient services involving various tests to diagnose medical conditions
- Electrocardiography (ECG) Diagnostic testing of the electrical activity within a person's heart
- Holter Monitoring Diagnostic testing of the electrical activity of an individual's heart over a period of time, usually 24-48 hours, depending on symptoms
- Ultrasound Ultrasound creates images using sound waves to take images of the inside of your body. Gel is put on the skin and a transducer (instrument shaped like a microphone) is moved over the area. This sends sound waves into the body and the returning sound waves (or echoes) make an image on the video screen. These images give your doctor information about the size, shape and texture of the body part being scanned.
- X-Rays General x-rays are the most frequent used form of medical imaging. X-ray procedures use a small dose of radiation to create an image of the inside of your body. X-rays are used to identify fractures (breaks), dislocations, infections, arthritis, bone disorders, chest and abdominal pathologies, as well as the presence of foreign bodies.
