Description of Services:

  • Offers a number of community-based programs for adults who may be involved in the justice system, who are dealing with mental health challenges, who are experiencing challenges with housing, or who may have developmental challenges and require support to live independently

    Programs offered include:
  • Direct Accountability Program - provides crown referred offenders (possessing nonviolent, less severe criminal behaviour) with the privilege of having a charge withdrawn upon successful program completion
     
  • Supervised Independent Living - focused on offering non-residential community supports to adults with developmental disabilities, mental health issues or with other special needs who are at risk of becoming involved or have been involved with the criminal justice system
     
  • Project Home - focuses on housing youth who have experienced chronic homelessness
     
  • Supportive Housing - provides people who may have mental health diagnoses and who are involved with the justice system with a rent subsidy for reintegration into the community
     
  • Reintegration Program -  The Reintegration Program works with adults who have a confirmed or suspected mental health illness and who are involved in the justice system.
