Description of Services:

First Nations community of the Oneida peoples * operates independently according to long standing spiritual and cultural traditions * administers own community development, health, learning, safety and public works programs

  • Band Representative Program Ensures the safety and security of all children who are registered, eligible to be registered and community members of Oneida Nation of the Thames

  • Community Wellness Promotes healthy healing and wellness programs and community development

  • Fire Department Fire suppression * Fire Safe Program * prevention, detection and escape education * Mutual Aid response * responds to some medical/trauma calls with paramedics when requested

  • Health and Wellness Services Health centre focused on family and community health * health professionals assess and treat non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses * referrals to other local health services and personal development groups available on and off reserve

  • Life-Long Learning - Oneida Education Centre Education programs for members of the community
