Ongoing and emergency community supports to help people experiencing poverty meet their basic needs and achieve self-sufficiency

LIFE*SPIN Affordable Housing Initiative Affordable housing units * includes 2 bachelor units, 3 two-bedroom units, and 5 one-bedroom units
Office of the Community Advocate Assistance with completing application forms for social assistance, disability supports, and pension benefits * advocacy on client's behalf with other agencies and services providers such as utility companies
Public Legal Education Publications of plain-language information and training materials related to poverty issues and legislative changes * presentations and consultations on low-income issues * workshops to help people apply for benefits and savings plans
The "Living Room" Community resource space for programming related to basic quality of life for people affected by poverty
